According to the Sacramento Sheriff's Department, back on April 25th of this year a woman parked her car in front of a business in the 2200 block of Gold Rush Drive near the Gold River area of Sacramento County. Deputies say it was shortly after that a man in another car pulled into the same parking area and saw another man (pictured below) break a window of the woman's car parked nearby.
The man who witnessed the alleged break-in got out of his car ran after the suspected thief as he left the parking lot on foot. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and pointed it the man giving chase.
Detectives describe the suspect as a white male adult, approximately 25-35 years old, between 6', 1'' tall to 6', 3'' tall and 170 to 180 pounds. At the time of the incident, the suspect had a goatee and was wearing a dark colored t-shirt with grey and black long shorts.
The suspect eventually drove away from the burglary scene in a white 1990's model four-door Honda Civic. The handgun, as seen in pictures of the incident, appears to be a two-tone semi-automatic.
