Boy Dies After Hit-And-Run Crash In Arden-Arcade

A boy has died after suffering major injuries in a hit and run crash on Wednesday near the Arden-Arcade area.

The boy was riding his bike around 5 o'clock a.m. when he was hit by a car and carried on the hood. 

CHP officials says responding officers found the boy, who has not been identified, in the front yard of a home, unresponsive and unconscious. He was transported to a local hospital with major injuries and was pronounced dead hours later. 

The suspected vehicle is only described as “possibly being a dark-colored minivan or SUV-type vehicle." No license plate number was reported.
