Modesto Police say 6-year-old Jayce Cosso is safe after being found at a La Quinta Inn and Suites in Dublin at 8 a.m. on Sept. 25.
The boy was allegedly abducted from his Central Valley home on Monday by his father, John Cosso. Deputies from Alameda County Sheriff’s Department took John Cosso and his 17-year-old son into custody without incident.
They say Jayce was unharmed and will be reunited with his mother, Kimberly Valente. The investigation is still underway and interviews will be conducted to identify any other suspects in this case.
Valente posted on Facebook that she was thankful for all the prayers her family received.
