Woodland House Holiday Display Benefits Yolo Food Bank

Listen to the interview with the homeowner.

Chris Giambruno spends his work days at Woodland Memorial Hospital but during the holiday season, his nights include hosting Woodland’s best kept secret – a huge lightshow display from his own home. Thousands of lights cover every inch of his 1,400-square-foot front yard and are timed with holiday classics booming through multiple speakers.

Taking the mission of Dignity Health outside the hospital walls he aims to spread joy and kindness with the show, while gathering food for those less fortunate. Chris’ can food drive benefits the Yolo Food Bank. For the past seven years Chris has matched pound for pound what the community donates and collectively has contributed 5,800 pounds to the food bank!

“The light show is for everyone to enjoy and to give some holiday spirit. In addition, there are about 55,000 that are in need of access to food every month in this county – no one should ever go hungry.”

The show runs from now until New Year’s Eve:

·Sun-Thurs: 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.

·Fri-Sat: 5:30 to 10:00 p.m.

The home is at 2204 Muller Place, in Woodland, 95776.
