Allison Harris with the Sacramento County Bradshaw Shelter says they are overcrowded with Barn Cats and we need your help!
They are currently housing 15 Barn Cats and have run out of available space. Some of them have been here for nearly a month and we’d like to see them out roaming and hunting instead of being cooped up at the shelter.
Barn Cats are not typical family pets as they range in temperament from considerably unsocial to plain feral. They are accustomed to living outdoors and are itching to get to work providing your home, office or property with all-natural rodent control. These cats prefer to be adopted in pairs and all they need is access to food/water and a dry, safe place to lay their heads after a long day of hunting.
