The Chinese researcher facing charges of lying to American officials about a suspected connection to the military in China and the Communist Party in that country in order to enter the U-S to work at the University of California, Davis finally has a trial date. Dr. Juan Tang's trial is due to start on February 8, 2021, but her lawyers claim she will most likely be sentenced to time already served after being arrested for falsifying her visa application.
