Two Placer County Districts Plan To Increase In-Person Instruction

Two school districts in Placer County are planning to bring back students to campus five days a week in the new year. The Roseville Joint Unified High School District and Rocklin Unified voted this week to bring students back on campus full-time or almost full-time in January. RJUHSD's school board voted unanimously to begin full-time learning on January 5.

RUSD voted to start five days a week on a limited schedule starting January 19 and will assign students to either a morning or afternoon group. That will last until April or until the county reaches the orange tier. Both districts, however, are still providing online options for students who don't feel comfortable returning to campus.
