One Sacramento County Supervisor is under fire for criticizing President Donald Trump and his supporters on social media.
Supervisor Phil Serna wrote a heated post on his personal Facebook page about his feelings on Trump and his supporters. He wrote, "if you are a supporter of Donald Trump, you're dead to me. You don't matter. You are irrelevant. You are a traitor." In another post, days later, Serna acknowledged that not everyone agrees with his opinion, but explained that his constituents deserve to know how he feels.
Fellow Supervisor Sue Frost responded in a statement reading "No elected officials should disdain their own residents."
