Sacramento Mayor Darell Steinberg is urging residents to avoid the state Capitol the week of the presidential inauguration.
Steinberg took to Facebook yesterday to share that a large law-enforcement presence will be in the area surrounding the state Capitol in preparation of protests and demonstrations. The FBI issued a warning earlier this week that armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitol buildings and in Washington D.C.
