California is now the first state with over 3 million COVID-19 cases.
Johns Hopkins University and the COVID Tracking Project data shows numbers have tripled in the last two months. There are currently 3,005,830 cases and over 33,000 deaths. Over 1 million of those cases are in Los Angeles County.
