Parents and students in Elk Grove are calling for the district to reopen schools.
A group gathered at the Elk Grove Unified School District on Florin Road, demanding that officials resume in-person learning at all schools with the option of distance learning as well. They believe schools are a safe place to be and students should be welcomed back to campus. The group also protested the format of the district's virtual board meetings and argued that because they're online their input has been restricted.
