For the first time, Bitcoin is surpassing the 50-thousand-dollar milestone this week. The price of the world's biggest digital currency has been on the upswing since Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the company would purchase one-and-a-half billion dollars' worth of the cryptocurrency and also accept it as a form of payment. This is in addition to the recent support from big firms like Mastercard and BNY Mellon.
