The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department has released a video briefing that details the incident from January 18th, 2021 in which Deputy Adam Gibson and his K-9 partner Riley were killed when responding to a traffic stop. Another officer was shot and injured as well and is expected to make a full recovery.
