Yolo County can soon reopen schools after meeting the state's coronavirus metric standards.
With improving COVID-19 infection rates, schools in Davis, Woodland and West Sacramento can reopen in California's red tier of its Blueprint for a Safer Economy. The county has to be in the red tier for five consecutive days in order to bring kids back to campus. School officials have not announced an official return date, but classes are expected to be held in a modified hybrid model.
