The death of a homeless man is sparking more conversations about Sacramento's homeless crisis.

The man was found at Cesar Chavez Park on Sunday morning. Sacramento City Councilmember Katie Valenzuela says on Tuesday, city staff are going to propose to re-allocate money from warming center funding to the hotel housing program. Mayor Darrell Steinberg's office says the city is opening shelters and leasing hotel rooms for unsheltered residents soon.
