The Placer Food Bank serves the counties of El Dorado. Nevada and Placer Counties and they’ve transitioned to an online donation system—formally ending accepting community food donations. In 2019-2020, PFB distributed 6.8 million pounds of food and provided 8 million meals to those in need. COVID has changed food collection and has created a safer, more efficient process.
