Podcaster Joe Rogan says young people don't need to worry about getting the vaccine if they're healthy.
Rogan made the comments on his podcast yesterday, drawing backlash on social media. This is not Rogan's first brush with public backlash for comments on his show, apologizing in October for incorrect information spread about the wildfires on the West Coast.
White House medical advisor Anthony Fauci addressed Rogan's comments on NBC's Today. Fauci said he was "propagating the outbreak" because a healthy person who has the virus but no symptoms could pass it to someone who then has a severe reaction. The CDC says all Americans age 16 and older should get vaccinated.
