A local teen battling terminal cancer is calling on Sacramentans to help other kids going through the same struggle.
Sammie Dacong is facing her second bout of cancer at only 18 years old, but doctors told her she won't survive this time around. As her dying wish, Dacong is asking people to donate to her Make-A-Wish page called "Sammie Wishes It Forward Again" to pass along funding for other kids dealing with illnesses she says they don't deserve.
Sammie was honored with a drive-by celebration last night in Sacramento's Land Park, where she landed her dream job, being appointed a spokesperson for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Donations can be made here.
