After breaking attendance records last weekend, Sacramento's Aftershock Festival is announcing its return in 2022. A record 145-thousand fans attended the sold-out festival in Discovery Park during Aftershock's four-day run. Sacramento County officials announced Thursday the rock-extravaganza returns next year October 6th through the 9th. Last weekend's event brought an estimated 30-million dollars to the local economy. Visit Sacramento reports around three-quarters of attendees came from outside the region.
