Former President Bill Clinton Hospitalized, “On The Mend”

Former President Bill Clinton could leave a California hospital today.

He was admitted Tuesday to treat a urinary tract infection that spread to his bloodstream. The 75-year-old is said to be on the mend and in good spirits, even joking with doctors and nurses.

"After two days of treatment, his white blood cell count is trending down and he is responding to antibiotics well,” the doctors said. “The California-based medical team has been in constant communication with the President’s New York-based medical team, including his cardiologist. We hope to have him go home soon.”
