I-80 in both directions is back open from Colfax to the Nevada state-line.
That stretch of freeway had been shut down for the better part of three days while crews dug out from the record-breaking snowfall in the high Sierra. This means both highway 50 and I-80 are open. But travel in the mountains is still very slow.
