It's the early 2000's. Albert Parnell is a 19 year old UC Davis student and loving college life.
Albert, aka "DJ Bigg Al Jonson," was a KDVS Dj with a radio show which used to air on Thursdays from 12:00 AM -02:00 AM. The show was called The Get Down: Hip Hop and R&B Show and played a variety of Reggae, Hip-hop, R&B, and Soul. He was the Vice President in the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity as well as an employee of Campus Unions in the Memorial Union. He was also the Vice President of the African American Greek Letter Council and volunteered his time at the African Americans and Africans Cultivating Education in the Student Recruitment and Retention Center.
