Max is a 1 year old and 74 pound dog who is looking for his forever home. Max is a lovely guy but, like many Chow Chow dogs, can be a bit eccentric. While many of us find this quite charming, it does mean that his new home will need to be patient as he transitions to his new environment. Max can be fearful of strangers, uncertain with other dogs, and downright awkward with his leash manners. Once he becomes comfortable with you, this big fluff ball with try to sit in your lap and will love to play. His previous owner said he was house trained and that he would hold his bladder until he went outside.

Max finds cats a little TOO interesting, so he would do best in a home with NO CATS.
Due to his personality, Max is a better fit for homes with teens and adults. Younger children are not recommended.
