Record breaking heat rolls into Northern California starting today.
The heat is on for Northern California and with today's forecast expected to hit the mid-80's, National Weather Service Sacramento Meteorologist Robert Baruffaldi fully expects temperatures to hit all-time highs. Baraffaldi also says Tuesday won't be the only day hitting a hot high, because the record-setting heat will continue Wednesday and possibly Thursday before the weather begins to cool down. He adds normal temps for this time of year are usually around 68 degrees, so it's quite the warmup for region.
