- Sacramento Police are announcing the arrest of a second suspect in Sunday morning's mass shooting. He's identified as 27-year-old Smiley Martin, the brother of the first suspect, Dandrae Martin.
- Hundreds of truckers are making their way to California to protest what they view as government over-reach by Governor Newsom and other state lawmakers. On April 11th, the convoy head to Sacramento after a stop in Los Angeles where they plan to protest a host of bills at the Capitol that critics say would erode the freedoms and rights of Californians.
- University of California system may add a new admissions requirement, something they haven’t done in 20-years. However, opponents believe the "ethnic studies" curriculum being considered encourages bias against Jews and is politically motivated.
