Companies across the Bay Area are responding to the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade by offering various abortion benefits to employees. Among them are Patagonia, Airbnb, Salesforce, Lyft, Uber, Reddit, Meta, Tesla, and Yelp. Benefits include reimbursement for abortion-related expenses, including travel to an employee's home state, and time off.
State lawmakers in Texas are already threatening Citigroup and Lyft with legal repercussions after the companies announced abortion travel reimbursement policies.
