City Year Sacramento, part of AmeriCorps, offers a year of service for recent high school graduates or current college students unsure what to do this fall.
City Year AmeriCorps members serve as student success coaches, supporting the development, growth and success of students in local under-resourced schools, while cultivating skills to be leaders in their communities and careers. There are currently 62 corps members working with 4,000 students throughout Sacramento. Our City Year Sacramento AmeriCorps members partner with teachers and schools to add more support and to help create learning environments where all students can build on their strengths and fully engage in their learning.
