Not long ago, I announced the partnering of Sacramento State and Metahab. On Saturday, April 29th, we are presenting "The Science and Practice of Posttraumatic Growth." The keynote speaker is Charles Clark, a motivational speaker, mindset expert, and world-class athlete who will uplift and inspire you. A panel of experts will present tools to transform adversity & trauma into strength through the development of resilience, compassion, & posttraumatic growth (PTG). The conference will cover the science of Posttraumatic Growth and provide specific strategies for achieving PTG. Continuing education hours are available, including 6 Contact Hours for Nurses and Speech Therapy. Register today!

In 1990 Joyce Mikal-Flynn survived a death event requiring 22 minutes of CPR to come back to life. Dr. Mikal-Flynn, an expert in resilience and trauma care, researches and uses her unique system of recovery, Metahabillitation, to guide survivors toward posttraumatic growth (PTG).
