Events Overview:

  1. June 30, 7 PM: Community Concert with Symphony d’Oro and the River City Concert Band, Cordova High Performing Arts Center, free event

·     Symphony and Concert Band performing original scores and a special “20 Years, A Million Dreams” tribute, free ice cream social

 

  1. July 1, 6:30 PM: David Garibaldi Paints the Town LIVE, Village Green Park, free event

·  David Garibaldi will create three original paintings live in the amphitheater of Village Green Park

 

  1. July 3, 5:30 PM: 20th Anniversary Civic Events Day at Rancho Cordova City Hall – free event

· 20th anniversary of cityhood, Mills Middle School Drumline, champagne toast and cupcakes, street train to Hagan Park with police escort

 

  1. July 3, 4 PM – 11 PM: Anniversary Show with Hot Air Balloon rides, “Hip Service” in concert, Fireworks & Drone Show, Hagan Community Park

· 

o    Hot air balloon rides –take a ride/report from the sky

o    Biggest fireworks show in Northern California – go behind the scenes with the pyro engineers

o    Only drones show in region – meet the drone experts

o    Carnival – ride the Ferris Wheel or train, drive a bumper car

o    “Hip Service” in concert – high-energy dance band

o    25 food and beverage vendors  

 

  1. July 4th, 9 AMFourth of July “All-America Mile” Run, Coloma and McGregor

·  

o    Emmanuel Bor, 2023 USA Track & Field Cross Country Champion and World Cross Country Championship Qualifier, will compete in this race

o    Meet the run organizer, Josh Gruver

o    Runners in festive attire

o    The run is an official USA Track & Field one-mile course

 

  1. July 4th, 10 AM: Fourth of July Parade, Coloma and McGregor

o    70+ floats on 1.5 mile route

o    Street train

o    7 marching bands for the youth competition

o    3 Drumlines

 

  1. July 4th, 4 PM – 11 PM: Fourth of July Celebration with Hot Air Balloon rides, “Space Oddity: The Ultimate David Bowie Experience” in concert, Fireworks & Drone Show, Hagan Community Park

·

o    Hot air balloon rides (tethered) –take a ride/report from the sky
