  2. The 2023 California State Fair and Food Festival is in the books. Sunday was the last day of the fair and it wrapped with a record closing weekend. Fair officials say they say the largest four-day attendance since the pre-COVID era. Saturday July 29th saw the largest single day attendance with over 65-thousand guests. Click here to read more.
  3. A luxury river cruise that launched from Sacramento has pulled future voyages through 2025. The Napa Valley River cruise, from American Cruise Lines, was set to make stops in San Francisco, Vallejo, Stockton and Napa on The American Jazz ship.   4. The oldest craft brewery in the nation has officially shut its doors for good. This morning marks the first day without operation of Anchor Brewing in over 127 years. Beer lovers from far and wide descended on Anchor Brewing in San Francisco Sunday to get one last pint at the tasting room. The brewery is being liquidated, where a group of employees are hoping to be given a shot at buying the company and potentially re-opening. Click here to read more.
