- Sacramento city and County leaders have approved a joint agreement designed to get thousands of homeless people off the street. The plan calls for the creation of 2,000 affordable housing units in five years. The city and county must finalize their affordable housing plan within 180 days of the agreement going into effect. - Governor Newsom is ending his third day in China. He met with the country's president to talk about the climate crisis. He feels the only way to solve it is to continue working together as two of the world's largest economies. - It looks like graduation rates are stalling at California State University. Numbers remain the same as last year at 35% for first-time students earning a degree in four years. The goal is 40% by 2025. But it jumps to 70% for those graduating in six-years. Click here to read more.
- The Sacramento Kings open their new season tonight in Utah. Tip off is at 6:00 p.m. PST. Last season, the Kings made the playoffs for the first time since 2006, but lost to the Golden State Warriors in seven games in the first round.
