The third annual Sacramento T2T 5K is Saturday Nov. 4 at William Land Park.
Here are the three programs the Sacramento 5K helps support, and the local families that have benefited:
• Fallen First Responder Program: Providing mortgage payoffs for fallen first responders and who leave behind young families. We paid off the mortgages of :
- Newman Police Officer Corporal Ronil Singh in January 2019
- El Dorado County Sheriff Deputy Brian Ishmael in October 2019
- Sacramento County Sheriff Deputy Adam Gibson in February 2021
- Stockton Police Officer Jimmy Inn in August 2021
- Cal Fire Training Center Captain Mike Brabo (Roseville) 2022
• Gold Star Family Home Program: Providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star Families with small children. We paid off the mortgage of"
- Placer County Marine Capt. John Sax, June 2022
• Smart Home Program: Building adaptive homes for the military’s most catastrophically injured service members.
- Dez Del Barba - he is from Stockton but his home will be built in Lodi
