Cancer Champions Proud to Be a Benefactor for the 36th Annual Davis Turkey Trot

Cancer Champions is thrilled to announce its participation as a benefactor in the upcoming 36th Annual Davis Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 23, at Civic Center Field in Davis. Organized by A Change of Pace Foundation, the Davis Turkey Trot is an iconic event anticipated to draw over 4,000 runners and walkers from across Northern California.

This family-friendly run/walk event will feature multiple race options, including the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and special Kids' Races. New this year, the event will include a Cancer Survivor Division, offering a meaningful opportunity for survivors to participate and be celebrated for their resilience. Participants will also have the option to wear “I Show Up for ___” bibs, allowing them to run in honor of loved ones affected by cancer.

As one of the main benefactors, Cancer Champions is honored to support a tradition that not only celebrates fitness but also uplifts impactful local organizations. Proceeds from the Davis Turkey Trot will support Cancer Champions alongside other worthy causes, including the Yolo County SPCA and the Davis Firefighters Local 3494’s Annual Turkey Basket Giveaway. By participating, athletes contribute to Cancer Champions' mission of empowering cancer survivors and their families through education, resources, and support programs.
