On Monday's (3/17) John McGinness show, John discusses a case out of Indiana where a federal district judge is ordering the state Indiana Department of Corrections (IDOC) to move forward with a sex change surgery for an inmate. This inmate is convicted of reckless homicide of a baby. The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit on behalf of the inmate, who currently goes by Autumn Cordellioné but was born as Jonathan Richardson, to challenge a state law that prohibits the IDOC from using taxpayer money to fund sex reassignment surgery for inmates.
