Levee Breach Possible Cause of Flooding South of Elk Grove

Swollen rivers, creeks, and streams continue to threaten the Sacramento region following heavy rains that have last nearly a week.  Extra pressure is being applied to levees designed to keep homes and farms from flooding, and those levees can not always withstand that pressure.

KFBK's John Lobertini witnessed water flowing over Lambert Road south of Elk Grove on Thursday morning.  That water quickly covered hundreds of acres of mostly rural land.
