A Citrus Heights man is under arrest after police say he tried to ram one of their cars. 24-year-old Jared Moody was taken into custody after leading police on three chases. Officers were called to the 7400 block of Kadota Way around 3 o'clock Monday morning after someone had reportedly driven onto the front lawn and was vandalizing someone's property.
With police on the way, Moody got into his car and took, circling back twice toward the officers and attempting to ram the police car head on. Moody was eventually taken into custody and booked into the Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on an officer and several other charges.
