Two people were killed Tuesday night around 10pm after a wrong-way driver crashed head-on into another vehicle on Intestate 80 just after Northgate Blvd.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 10 p.m. on eastbound I-80, just east of Northgate Boulevard. The wrong-way driver, who was in a Mustang, was first reported driving the wrong way on eastbound I-80 at Watt Avenue. According to the CHP the driver side-swiped a car near Raley Boulevard before crashing head-on with a Dodge.
