Crews continue to reinforce the damaged emergency spillway at the Lake Oroville Dam in an effort to prevent it from failing and unleashing a wall of water into the Feather River and communities below the dam. Close to 190,000 people who have evacuated Oroville and other communities which would be at risk for flooding are waiting for word that can return home. However, with another round of stormy weather due to hit Northern California on Thursday it may be a while before officials declare this emergency to be at an end.
