Have you ever lost track of garbage day or raced outside after hearing the garbage truck? Now there's a simple and easy way for residents to receive a customized electronic reminder about garbage, recycling, and green waste pickup schedules.
Customers of Sacramento County’s Waste Management and Recycling Department can sign up to receive a handy calendar reminder via email or a phone call. Customers can “tailor make” the time of their garbage day reminder, whether it’s 6 pm the day before, or 7 am the morning of collections. Reminders also include what is scheduled to be picked up that week – garbage, recycling and/or green waste.
