Two years after a baby was found dead in a Yolo County slough, the father has been arrested and charged. On Wednesday morning, Frank Rees was charged for his possible role in the death of his child Justice.
The 19-day-old baby was found near Knights Landing in 2015. Rees has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, abusing or endangering the health of a child, and administering a controlled substance. The Yolo district attorney's office would not explain why it took two years to file charges against Rees.
The baby's mother, Samantha Green, was found guilty of murder last September. Three months later, she was sentened to 15-years-to-life in prison.
