Arrest Warrant Issued for Former Stockton Mayor

An arrest warrant has been issued for ex-Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva. Two search warrants were also served - one at the Stockton Kids Club and one at Silva’s house. Authorities were seen removing items from both Silva's house and the Kids Club this afternoon.

The district attorney's office said both search warrants are part of an ongoing investigation. Silva's attorneys say the investigation was about financial matters.

Silva posted on Facebook Wednesday that he is out of the country on vacation. That post has since been deleted.
