There have reportedly been 24 complaints received of chargers overheating and deforming the charger’s plastic cover, including six reports of chargers emitting a burning smell, but no injuries have been noted.

The XBOX ONE controllers were sold at Best Buy, GameStop and other stores in the United States and online at Amazon.com from February 2016 through February 2017.

The chargers were manufactured in China, then they were imported into the U-S and distributed by Performance Designed Products LLC, of Burbank, California.
