Waiter Fired For Asking Customer For Proof Of Residency

A high end restaurant in Orange County  is doing damage control after a waiter asks to see a customer's proof of residency.

Two or more women, including Diana Carrillo, who has Mexican ancestry, claim they were sitting at the upscale eatery in Huntington Beach waiting for friends over the weekend, when the waiter walked up to them.  They say he asked to see their proof of residency before he could serve them.  The women spoke to the manager who quickly apologized and after they left, one woman went on a rant on social media.

Carrillo posted about her experience on Facebook shortly after the alleged incident with the waiter.

Officials with Saint Marc restaurant responded saying the waiter has been fired.  Carrillo describes herself as a light-skinned Latina and says she has never felt so judged in her life.
