Authorities from various agencies on Friday announced a joint news conference regarding the case of Alycia "Aly" Yeoman. The Gridley woman was last seen last week driving her truck in Yuba City, north of Sacramento. That truck was discovered in a Live Oak orchard by farmworkers who reported the find to police when it hadn't been moved. An investigation led police to a set of footprints leading away from the truck that had gone down a levee and wound up stuck in the mud. Yeoman's phone was found in the general vicinity of the truck.
The following agencies are collaborating in this investigation: Butte County District Attorney's Office, Butte County Sheriff's Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Gridley-Biggs Police Department, Sutter County District Attorney's Office, Sutter County Sheriff's Office, Yuba City Police Department.
Investigators say Yeoman's family has been working closely with the unified command group and Alycia's family will be present at the press conference.
