L.A. Congresswoman Wants Apology For Being Cut Off

One week after the California Democratic Party's statewide convention, Los Angeles Congresswoman Maxine Waters is still unhappy because her microphone was turned off in the middle of a speech at the Sacramento Convention Center. An employee of the event's planning firm, Frontrunner, cut off the audio after Waters' remarks to the African American Caucus went long.

The Sacramento Bee reported the caucus sent a letter to the State Democratic Party leadership asking for a formal apology and reimbursement for expenses related to the event.
