More South Sac Gas Station Murder Suspects Identified

Homicide detectives have identified two more suspects wanted for the murder of 20-year-old Simranjit Singh during the late evening hours of July 25, 2017, outside a Chevron station in the 8400 block of Florin Road in South Sacramento, where Singh worked as a clerk.

Detectives said on Friday that are searching for Rodolfo Zavala, 23, and Ramon Zavala, 15, of Sacramento. It is unclear if the two are related to one another or just share the same last name.  Both suspects have outstanding warrants for the murder, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Alexander Lopez was arrested on July 26th for his involvement in the murder and booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail. He is currently ineligible for bail, and was scheduled to be arraigned in Sacramento Superior Court on Friday.

While all three suspects are believed to have been involved in a verbal argument with one of Singh's co-workers, only one of them is alleged to have pulled out a gun and shot Singh when he approached them in the Chevron station parking lot.

Detectives are asking anyone with information relating to this incident, to please contact the Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP. Tip information may also be left anonymously at www.sacsheriff.com or by calling (916) 874-TIPS (8477).
