VIDEO: Watch The Eclipse Right Here

Monday’s total solar eclipse will the first such event seen in the continental United States since 1979. A partial eclipse will be visible from across the country beginning on the Pacific coast at 9:05 a.m. PDT.  The eclipse will reach its peak at 10:16 a.m., but in the Sacramento region only 79 percent of the sun's light will be blocked by the passing moon.

People have traveled from all over the world to various towns and cities in the U-S to see this solar eclipse, but you can view it from the comfort of home, work or school starting at approximately 10:15 a.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) on Monday.
