Students at the Sacramento County Youth Detention Center get a visit from members of the California National Guard as part of a career celebration event.
The at-risk teens met with pilot Bobby Brockley and crew members of the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter to discuss career opportunities.
The crew also made a landing at Sacramento’s North Area Community School today. The education programs at North Area Community School and the YDF provide each student with an individualized plan that focuses on career aspiration.
