Three UCLA basketball players who were arrested in China apologized to their families and fans on Wednesday and thanked President Donald Trump for helping to arrange their release.
Freshmen LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill spoke at a news conference Wednesday at the UCLA basketball stadium, the first time they had spoken publicly since Nov. 7.
Riley, LiAngelo Ball and Jalen Hill were detained last week on suspicion of stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store while UCLA was in China for a game against Georgia Tech.
