Sam's Club is abruptly closing stores across the country, including one in Sacramento.
Business Insider reports a total of 63 Sam’s Club locations are closing. With the El Camino Avenue location closing, the remaining Sacramento location is on Power Inn Road. The El Camino store will close for good on January 26th, according to a sign on the front door.
According to a statement on Sam's Club's Twitter account, the company has decided to close a series of locations to "better align with our strategy." The tweet continues to say that this process is never easy, and they are working with impacted members and associates through this transition.
